This BVHS Baseball Camp is geared to improve each camper's overall baseball skills and to teach all the fundamentals of position play in baseball. Emphasis on developing proper mechanics of all facets of the game will be organized into fun, exciting and competitive station work and games throughout the day. Campers will be placed in an environment where through fun they will learn game rules, game situations and team strategies.
June 9th-12th---Grades 5-8
This BVHS Baseball Camp is geared to improve each camper's overall baseball skills. Additionally, to teach all the fundamentals of position play in baseball; with much emphasis on the proper mechanics of throwing, fielding, hitting, and base running. Campers will be placed in position specific drills that focus on their individual growth and development. This camp is designed to challenge the player through an organized, fun and competitive environment of baseball. Campers will be exposed to new team and individual drills daily to help bring their game to the next level.
*Option for Advanced Camp (One-Hour following completion of camp on the 9th, 10th and 11th--$127.50 for all 3 sessions). Limited to first 20 signups). Opportunity for campers to work on a higher level of skill development in a smaller setting. This is for the advanced player who is serious about the game of baseball. Advanced Camp is only for children going into 7th or 8th grade in Fall of 2025). Advanced Camp runs from 12:30-1:30 on the 9th, 10th and 11th of July).
LOCATION:
Bishop Verot High School Baseball Field
CAMP FACILITIES:
Baseball camp will be conducted on the Bishop Verot Baseball fields. Additional grass practice fields will be used as necessary.
CAMP STORE:
Will be open daily to purchase snacks, drinks and BV Baseball Clothing Items.
CAMP PARTICIPANT ESSENTIALS:
T-shirt, baseball pants, socks, cleats, sunscreen, drinks.
